The greatest responsibility one has as a Board member is to hold the spiritual trust of the membership.

Upon acceptance of a position on the Board of Trustees, every Board member accepts certain responsibilities and agrees to support and represent Board directives. The Board works together, using spiritual principles to uphold the highest and best interests of the church. The Board's major areas of responsibility are as follows:

1. Set Policy, Legal Issues Fundraising

2. HR / Hire and Equip Minister

3. Be an Advocate, Communicate

4. Budgeting, Financial Stewardship,

5. Monitor/Maintain Ministry Assets, Risk Mgt.

6. Strategic Planning, Resource Development

Please describe your current volunteer roles and active involvement at UTBR.

Why do you feel called to Board service at this time?

Are you willing to give the time needed to attend Board meetings, ministry team meetings, special events and other activitites expected of Board Trustees and key leaders? Please share your thoughts. In general, the Board meets one evening per month. Other time commitments include occasional liaison to Ministry Team, routine support with Sunday services, special planning meetings, Board retreat, special projects, etc.
